Fellow mediocre guitarists and mediocre-to-poor singers: Sometimes it’s good to have a song or two like this in your arsenal to bust out at parties. Or, in my case, to play/sing four times in a row from your home office while your girlfriend, who is trying to listen to music in the living room, bangs on the wall and says, “Jason! Shut up! The neighbors are going to hear! SHUT UP!” 

Anyway, guys, if you play this in front of people and in the right circumstances and don’t totally fuck it up, it may actually get you laid. For serious. 

[It only took me 32 years to realize that two things that women like are “musical” and “funny.” There are a number of things I still do not understand about women - including but not limited to the Myth of the Female Orgasm - but trust me on the musical and funny thing.] 

[Also, I am not implying that I am either of those things. The only two things I owe any of my past sexual encounters with females are “Miller” and “Lite”. I’m just saying that I’m friends with a lot of women and they’re always talking about how they like musical and funny guys. Or something like that - my attention is usually drifting in and out of the conversation.]
